bird garden ~interlude~

Since I saw a lampwork bead of a birdhouse, I've always wanted to make a bird-themed bracelet for myself. I set to work on my clay and sculpted out a bird house. After that, I made some clay roses, along with a little bird to match the theme.

It took about 2 weeks for the coating to set properly, then I set my tools on it last week.

...wait a minute, that didn't look like a little bird! In fact, it's HUGE! That's because I accidentally incorporated the little bird into a different part of the set. Oops. I had to find a quick replacement for my bracelet's little bird, and it just happened to be that leftover oversized piyo-chan. Well, I'll make a new one as soon as I've got time :)
So where's the little bird?
There it is, right in the middle! I've attached it onto a necklace, so it makes a tiny pendant!

Classical

More pewter goodness! Pewter has such an antique-silver look, doesn't it? Okay, not really, but they do look classy when paired with pearls. And this piece, created to pair the Chandelier, brings images of silverware; one that has been forgotten in time, with a dangling flower desperately clutching to its yet untarnished colour.

Materials: pewter beads, Swarovski pearls, Swarovski crystals
Length: 16cm - 21cm (adjustable)

pearly glade

If you're wondering how on earth is it that I've got so many pictures of accessories I made, it's because these are actually *gasp!* backdated. [Very] recently I have made it a point to make one accessory a day, for as long as possible, so these are just items from when I started near the end of March :)

Bracelets are one of my favourite things in the world! I like them with little charms here and there and pearls. Can't do without my round pearls! Of course, crystals too, but that's usually an option in bracelets.
Lately though, I'm beginning to like the "overcrowding" scene on bracelets... I've added stars to it, along with some glass flowers for a more Spring-ish look, because they're just so romantic~ (see, even the flowers are star-shaped!)

Materials: glass beads, stainless steel chain & toggle, Swarovski pearls, Swarovski crystals
